Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya Vote
for Abolishing
of the Magocsian Congresses!
Paul Robert Magocsi, a Canadian American had the guts to appear before the Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya in the twentieths of October 2007. His reception
appeared to be quite upsetting, as Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya were at present not only listening to this overseas liar and a burglar, but also questioned him. This time, Magocsi was asked, at
whose money he had arrived to Europe, and no understandable answer had been given, though everybody understood that it was the money of the World’s Ruthenian Diaspora.
Further Magocsi was asked, why for the last Congress in Rumania has he appointed as a delegate a Jew, Padyak, and some other mean people, who merely damage the interests of the Ruthenians of
Pidkarpattya. There was no answer from Magocsi. As well, the Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya asked the Canadian American, why at the money of Ruthenian Diaspora he was publishing only his own books,
not distributed in Pidkarpattya, unpopular here and of no importance for the Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya, serving merely the disjoining of the Ruthenians of the World. Magocsi was as mute as a
fish; there came no answer from him. Then the Ruthenians asked Magocsi what was the price of his antiruthenian book named “People from Nowhere,” published in Romanian, in Ruthenian, and in
Ukrainian, completed in solid leather coverings, printed in art paper, furnished with colour photographs, from 4 to 5 at each page. There was no answer from Magocsi, but it is a common knowledge
that such an edition of a book might cost 15-20 thousand American dollars.
Further, the Ruthenians asked Magocsi, what the difference was between the second and the third Ruthenian Congress, between the third and the forth, the forth and the fifth, the fifth and the
sixth. Magocsi was unable to answer this question either. The Ruthenians responded, that there was no difference between them; they have been a conventional cliche and a stereotyped pattern, not
serving the development of Ruthenians, merely estranging them, and bringing fame to Magocsi. Moreover, these Congresses helped Magocsi to loot the money collected by the World’s Ruthenian
Diaspora.
This is the reason, why Ruthenians of Pidkarpattya initiated to hold on a referendum among the Ruthenians of the World with the following questions:
- is not it time to terminate the magocsian principally antiruthenian congresses, as serving only the estranging among the ruthenians and only helping Magocsi to loot the money collected by the
Ruthenian Diaspora?
- Instead of holding Congresses in the European post-communist countries, to convene annual assembly of Ruthenians at Pidkarpattya and to invite the ruthenians of all the countries without
limitation, desiring to participate in it.
Looking forward your proposals and initiatives.
